“Chosen”
Do you realize God has a plan for you and He has had that plan before you existed. Paul said,
He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world…In love He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself,
Ephesians 1:4-5
Do you also realize that you are God’s “Workmanship”. You see, God brought us to Jesus Christ so that through Christ we could do great works for Him. (Ephesians 2:10) Jesus said,
…he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do.
John 14:12
By the way, those works God has for us to do, He’s had them ready before we ever came to faith in Christ.
Knowing this, maybe we should seek God’s will for our lives. God’s will is not a mystery. The prophet Micah said,
…what does the LORD require of you…to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God.
Micah 6:8
If we stay in God’s Word and be obedient to the truth revealed,we will be walking in God’s will. Look for those works God has for you and as Paul says, “…walk in them.”
