Our Staff

At Lewisville Bible Church, we are blessed with a faithful team of pastors who love the Lord, love His Word, and love His people. Each member of our staff brings a unique background and gifting, but all share a common devotion to Christ and a heart to serve His church.

Whether leading in worship, teaching the Scriptures, discipling youth, or encouraging the global mission field, our pastors seek to ā€œhold forth the word of lifeā€ (Phil. 2:16) and build up the body of Christ. Get to know the men God has called to lead and walk alongside our church family.

What We Believe

beliefs that unite us

01

God

the one true living God, existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, eternal, identical in nature, equal in power and glory, possessing the same attributes and perfections. (Deuteronomy 6:4; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

02

The Bible

God’s inspired Word, authoritative, without error in the original writings, infallible, able to equip us for life and faith. (2 Timothy 3:16,17; 2 Peter 1:20,21)

03

People

Created in the image and likeness of God, fallen through Adam’s sin, inheriting a sin nature, alienated from God, redeemed by grace through salvation in Jesus Christ, renewed and sealed through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:26,27; Romans 3:22,23, 5:12; Ephesians 1:13, 2:12)

04

Believers

secure in Christ forever, kept by the power of God, and though we are still in the flesh, the old nature’s propensity to sin, we have victory over sin through the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit. (John 10:27-30; Romans 8:12,13; Ephesians 4:22-24; 1 John 5:4)

05

Jesus

the eternal Son of God, fully man, fully God, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on the cross, a substitutionary sacrifice, literally and physically resurrected from the dead, exalted at the right hand of God, will return in glory. (John 1:1,2,12; Luke 1:35; Romans 3:24,25, 4:25; 1 Peter 1:3-5)

06

Holy Spirit

the presence and power of God, fully God, convicts the world of sin, indwells all believers, baptizes them into the body of Christ, and seals them unto the day of redemption. (Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 12:12-14; Ephesians 1:13-14,and 18)

07

Salvation

the gift of God, by grace, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. It is the shed blood of Jesus Christ that atones sin. (Ephesians 1:7, 2:8-10; John 1:12)

08

The Church

the body and bride of Christ, to glorify God, to take the good news of the gospel of Christ to the world, to build up the body in Christ-likeness. (Ephesians 1:22-23, 5:25-27; 1 Corinthians 12;12-14)

09

The Future

Christ will return. We believe in the imminent, pretribulation and premillennial coming of the Lord Jesus Christ for His redeemed ones; His orderly return to earth, with His saints, to establish His Millennial Kingdom. (1 Thessalonians 1:10, 4:13-18, 5:9; Zechariah 14:4-11; Revelation 3:10, 19:11-16, 20:6)

Stories & Articles

find inspiration in God

"Beautiful home town church. Loving members. They have a huge heart for missions, prayer, and fellowship. Bible oriented, always. In depth sermons covering God's word with praise and worship songs. Sunday School."

ā€œIm proud to call LBC my church, but not at all surprised that my all knowing Father led me here. Thank you Lord. ā€

"It is a great place to learn about GOD and JESUS."

The body of the the church is made up of a variety of people from different walks of life and what people wear on Sundays reflects that. We have people who wear suits and ties all the way to those who feel more at home in tiger print shorts and a t-shirt. Wear what makes you comfortable (as long as you’ve got more than just your skivvies on).

We do encourage attendees to follow along in the Bible during the message, but it’s okay if you don’t have one. There are Bibles available in the backs of most of the pews. Or if you have a smartphone, we would recommend just downloading an app likeĀ The Bible App from YouVersion, that way you have the Word of God with you no matter where you go. The main translations that are preached from on a given Sunday are the New King James Version(NKJV) and the New American Standard Version(NASB).

We have several ministries for children and youth to help them learn about God’s grace and love.

Ā

Our Youth Ministries statement is,

Ā

ā€œOur Mission is to reach students with the gospel of Jesus Christ and to equip them to become active followers of Christ, standing on the Word of God, unashamed as they live out their faith.ā€

Ā

Sunday Services:

Ā

There are children and youth Sunday school classes starting from ages 3 up to High School. Classes are from 9am to 10am. During the 10:30am Worship Service, Kids ages 4 through 4th grade are in the sanctuary for singing, then are released for Children’s Church. Nursery services are offered for all children 3 years old and below during both the Sunday school hour and the Worship Service.

Ā

High School Fellowship:

Ā

For High Schoolers there are monthly gatherings for fellowship where teens can just hang out with others their own age while having fun. Ā Learn more about High School Fellowship here.

Ā

AWANA Clubs:

Ā

During the week we have AWANA Clubs on Wednesday from 6:25pm to 8:05pm for age 3 through High School. Learn more about AWANA ClubsĀ here.

Our morning worship is a mix of Modern Christian Worship and hymns. Our praise team loves to learn new songs to bring to the fellowship so that we can, as Psalms 96 puts it, ā€œSing a new song to the LORDā€, but we do still find that there is depth in the words of the older hymns that are relevant to us today. As such, we like to mix the old with the new.

We have our doctrines and beliefs outlined on the Who We Are page. You can clickĀ hereĀ to read in depth.

If you have anymore questions, we would love for you to contact usĀ here.
