Love Reaches Out
Do you want to know what love truly is, look to Jesus. Jesus, God the Son, enjoying the divine glory of God yet came down to us, to walk and live among us. God sought us even though we were not seeking Him.
Paul says,
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8
Jesus did not wait for us to turn our lives around and start living in righteousness before God, He came down and lived the example for us. The love and life Christ displayed is the love and life we should strive for. In fact, Jesus said that same love that He showed us is the same love we should have toward one another.
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
John 13:34
May this love Jesus commands us to have, flow through us and touch others for Christ.
