Refiner’s Fire
One Day
One day God will call our name and we will stand before the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, For the unbeliever, to make an account for their sins. For the Christ follower, our sins are forgiven, however we will stand in judgement for how we lived our life in Christ.
So, as Paul says,
…conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ.
Philippians 1:27
God’s desire is for us to become “conformed to the image of His Son.” (Romans 8:29) That is our goal in life.
Will we reach sinless perfection? No, but know this, because of the cross of Christ we are justified when we come to the cross for salvation in Jesus. We are being sanctified, molded by the hand of God as we live our life in Christ. One day we will be glorified with Christ. A guarantee for the Christ follower. Let us keep our eyes fixed on the finish line and proclaim, “…to live is Christ.” (Philippians 1:21)
